Captured through a broadcast-grade signal chain, not the consumer converters that mail-in services rely on. The difference is visible.
Every tape is played back through professional deck hardware, monitored on a broadcast reference display, and captured in ProRes, the same format used in professional post-production.
Why it matters: Consumer digitizers compress and re-encode your footage, permanently discarding quality. Capturing in ProRes preserves the full quality of the signal your original tape still holds, with no additional compression.

Scanned at archival resolution on professional-grade hardware. Your originals are handled with care and returned in the same condition they arrived.
We don't just scan. We assess. Every project includes a review of what you have, what condition it's in, and what recommendations make sense before we begin.
On originals: Your physical materials are logged on intake and never leave our care until they're returned to you. Nothing gets moved without being tracked.

Organization is where digitization becomes preservation. We work with you to structure your collection in a way that your whole family can actually use, share, and return to for generations.
On sharing: We ask who needs access, and help you get the archive into their hands. Whether that's a shared cloud folder, a permanent family archive platform, or an external drive for every sibling.

Everything in Tier I, plus date-based directories, metadata tagging, and client collaboration on dates, names, and locations. Your archive becomes navigable.
Everything in Tier II, plus restoration flagging, sharing setup, and delivery tailored to your family: whoever needs access, however they need it.
Pricing is based on time and project scope, quoted after we understand what you have. There are no per-tape price lists here, because not every tape is the same.
